About Us
The classes are lead by two professional actors with a vast amount of expertise. Both also work for Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust planning and leading drama projects throughout the year. Both hold current CRB's.
Andrew Blake - Andrew trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He has worked in the industry for 3 years. He has made several short films and his television work includes; ITV Bingo Night Live commercial, Channel Five Ident, The Innocence Project , Boy A and Shameless. As well as teaching classes for Wigan and Leisure Culture Trust, Andrew has led workshops in Drama, Stage Combat and also taught A Level for many years.
Natalie Grady - Natalie trained at Drama Centre London and has been acting professionally for 5 years. She has performed in London's West End, at the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and toured to many repertory theatres across the UK. Television work includes Coronation Street, Doctors and Jam and Jerusalem and a variety of radio work for the BBC. She has lead many drama workshops both in London and the North and teaches classes for the Wigan Leisure Culture Trust.
We both aim to create a fun and safe atmosphere for each child, where they can explore and create the different aspects of drama. We will endeavour to put on small performances each term to give parents an insight into what their child has been doing in class and also to give the children an opportunity to perform in front of an audience.
